A BLUE VAN USED TO KIDNAPPED A 10 YEAR OLD GIRL SEEN ON CCTV

 Lately, stories about kidnappers using a passenger van and targeting kids ages 13 and below are going rounds on social media which alarms parents and guardians to be extra careful in looking after their children and this week, another 10-year-old girl fall victim under the said modus.

According to the Grade 4 student alias Mia, she was walking to school at around 12 noon when a blue passenger van stopped in front of her.

In an interview with GMA News, Mia said that 3 men wearing masks forced her to get inside the van, she said she tried to shout and seek help but to no avail.

Based on the CCTV footage, the student was caught along Molave Street Brgy, Addition Hills in Mandaluyong City.

While inside the van, Mia said that the men covered her eyes and her nose with a cloth with a chemical that made her feel dizzy.

“Nararamdaman ko po parang paikot-ikot lang kami. May tumawag po sa driver, sabi daw po niya ibaba muna, kasama po ako,” Mia narrated.

The van then stopped and the driver asked them to get off the vehicle as the driver needs to speak with someone over the phone. That’s when Mia got the chance to escape from the kidnappers.

“Kinuha ko po yung ballpen na nasa bulsa ko. Natatakot po ako na makapatay ako ng tao kaya hinayaan ko nalang po na nakasara. Tapos sinaksak ko po sa tagiliran, tapos dun na po tumakbo na po ako,” she added.

Mia then runs to her school in and reported the incident.

The Mandaluyong police already launched a follow-up operation to search for the suspects.

“Na-detect po kung nasaan yung sasakyan, ito po ay nasa labas ng Mandaluyong at sabi sa akin n gaming hepe, wag muna ilabas yung plaka,” said Brgy. Additional Hills Chairman Kent Faminial.
